About Us.
Fassifern Bridge Club (FBC) plays two days per week with a short break for the Christmas – New Year Period. Masterpoints can be accrued from competition on both days. Our modern air-conditioned club house is located in Kalbar Community Centre, and ample parking is available. Sessions on Monday and Thursday afternoon run 12.30 to 4pm. Please arrive and be seated at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of play. The club house will be open at least 30 minutes before start of play. Table fees at regular sessions are $5.00 for members and $7.00 for visitors.

The FBC is a young club first affiliated with the ABF and QBA in 2015. All players are welcome to our Club. Bridge hands are computer dealt with Bridgemate scoring, results are available at the end of play, and on this web site shortly thereafter, on the link above (or by clicking Results in the menu). The club aims to provide opportunities for members of the local community to participate in the fun and challenge of duplicate bridge. It seeks to do this by providing an environment for competitive bridge, which emphasises education and enjoyment while nurturing members’ development and upholding ethical and behavioural standards, also encouraging participation in the wider bridge community.
Novices and experienced players are always welcome to visit our club sessions. New members are always welcome.
Fees
Currently our total annual membership fee is $55, which includes $46 paid to the ABF (Australian Bridge Federation) and QBA (Queensland Bridge Association.
Our ‘home club fee’ is significantly lower that that of other clubs.

Players who are registered with another club, and who wish to affiliate with FBC, may do so by paying a small fee.
Newcomers to duplicate bridge are encouraged to contact the club to discuss the club’s programs for learning this fascinating game. Beginner lessons are available at the start of the year. Help with play is available after completing the lessons.
